Sutivan to Milna by catamaran

Sailing boats and a small blue fishing boat in Sutivan harbour, by old stone houses

In high summer, the Krilo Shipping Company catamaran from Split stops in Sutivan and carries on to Milna, so from 3 July to 30 August you can hop between these two Brač harbours by sea instead of by road. Below you can see the departures from Sutivan for any date you pick, the full 2026 timetable and what the tickets cost.

Good to know before you go

This catamaran only runs between Sutivan and Milna from 3 July to 30 August, once a day each way. The rest of the year, the catamaran from Split goes no further than Sutivan.

Our tips for the catamaran

This is probably the least used crossing on our site. Most people go between Sutivan and Milna by bus or taxi, but there are always a few of us who take the catamaran.

It's over almost before you've sat down, so there isn't much more to say.

It's the same Krilo Shipping Company catamaran as on the Split line, with air conditioning, a vending machine and coffee.

It takes foot passengers only, not cars. Both villages are on Brač, so with a car you can simply drive. To get your car onto the island, take the car ferry from Split to Supetar (Split → Supetar) or from Makarska to Sumartin (Makarska → Sumartin).

As for the boats, Krilo Shipping Company usually sends the catamaran KSC Orangina (around 284 passengers). The companies swap boats from time to time, so yours may be a different one.

As for where to sit, it doesn't really matter here. It's a short trip, so just sit wherever you like.

There are no seat reservations on the catamarans: you sit wherever you like, first come, first served. All of them have air conditioning.

Bags are stowed one by one as people board, so the first ones in end up behind everyone else's. If you board last, yours will be the easiest to get to when you arrive.
