Milna → Vis

Other way: Vis → Milna

Good to know before you go

The catamaran stops in Milna on Wednesdays only, and not on a Wednesday that's a public holiday. On the other days, you travel between Brač and Vis via Split: a ferry from Brač to Split, then another one from Split to Vis.

Our tips for the catamaran

These catamarans take foot passengers only, not cars. If you're travelling with a car, the way onto Brač is the car ferry from Split to Supetar (Split → Supetar) or from Makarska to Sumartin (Makarska → Sumartin).

As for the boats, Krilo Kapetan Luka usually sends the catamaran Krilo Eclipse (440 passengers). The companies swap boats from time to time, so yours may be a different one.

For the best views, sit on the left side, looking towards the front of the catamaran. We checked the route on the map: for most of the way the coast is closer on that side, so that's where the views are.

There are no seat reservations on the catamarans: you sit wherever you like, first come, first served. All of them have air conditioning.

Bags are stowed one by one as people board, so the first ones in end up behind everyone else's. If you board last, yours will be the easiest to get to when you arrive.
